anime recommendation part one: neon genesis evangelion

um, hi! this is my first blog!!
v excited to write out my soul about something so passionate... anime!
my name is emi, im from a small town in georgia and there's not much one can do during a crisis like this (hope everyone is safe rn, thinking of u and you family ♥). 
anime has been such apart of me, that i literally breathe, walk, eat anime..HAHAH if that makes sense! i have decided to make blog posts rating different animes of allllll catergories, which might be alittle biased due to my burning passon for physcological horror anime, hehe! i try to expand my genres, but i always get stuck to the whole, killing, messing with your head type shows! so with that being said, here is my first recommedation; neon genesis evangelion.

GENRE: sci-fi, physcological, gore
REVIEW: with what's going on with the world currently, this show really satires what the world is based on. as we speak, we have racism, killings, and judgment in the world that dividing us as a nation just to see people's true colors out there. i will say this to the day i die, we must protect everyone in this world no matter the color of your skin and who you love. we are all people who are trying to survive the world one step at a time. this is what's beautiful about the show, we have a middle school kid, shinji Ikari, having dealt with anxiety, depression, trust issues, and mental intability. Having his mother die and father being so caught up in his work, shinji was neglected his whole life until he was needed to help fight off the angels (demonic antogonists who attempt to destroy the world) along with 3 other children. The adaptation and graphics really give the show credit for the dedication that was put in   
i wonder why the show is still popular, even in 2020. Everyone has their own interpretation on everything they were raised and believe in, so please take the time to undersand my interpretation of this piece.
We are all feeding into the government and their controllings and rulings. Us, as citizens, have no say on any military or realistically political say. We areon the bottom of the chain despretley praying things get better, but how can things get better if we have such horrible figureheads representing the country we thought was the land of the "free"? how can things get better if we are divided and are treated differently because of the color of our skin? We are fighting eachother when we all need to come together to help save the world we love. to help save the people we see everyday. to help save our inner beings from sadness and despair. As humans, we are shnjin, rei, and asukara. We are trying our best to only have a 50% chance of surviving. We don't know what's going to happen in the future, wheather it be good or bad.
