lyric was a girl,
an amalgamation of fragments swirling through the winds of nights.
a girl with so much anger and hurt and thoughts and feelings.
i never knew her well, though her memory bleeds through my mind and everything i do.
my face, my hair, the music i dance and cry to, the way i make my tea in winter evenings.
every year i've made the same mistakes, the same revelations, the same creations.
let me go back, i miss myself.
