2020 Seniors

In my thirteen years within my school district, I never would have thought that this would be how it ends. My whole life I've looked forward to graduating and moving forward with my life. I had always thought about how happy my family and I would be while I walked across the stage to retrieve my diploma. Unfortunately, Covid-19 has ruined those chances of having a traditional graduation ceremony for the 2020 seniors. 

Covid-19 has ruined multiple things for my academic life. Including senior cruise, senior breakfast, prom, and spending the last few months of my highschool career with the people who I've grown up with. Although that is very upsetting to many, we have still gained a graduation ceremony. To me, all that matters now is that I keep my family, friends, and myself safe. 

When I'm feeling upset about my senior year, I just think about how people all across the world are getting sick, and even dying from this virus. I feel blessed that this virus hasn’t harmed any of my loved ones, and that's all that I really could ask for. If you're a senior this year, please know that everyone feels for you.
