what are your opinions about fp being unsafe or the rumors just in general?

personally i feel like if you're going to come for fp for asking that kind of personal info, you should also know about what other sites that you use are doing. instagram and facebook do many of the same things but don't tell you. i'm not saying fp is innocent but you should be careful regardless if it's fp, instagram, or otherwise.

the thing that does bug me is the "not secure" part on the website. i think it's really sus. also the fact that the project was abandoned a little over 10 years ago and has rumored to have new ownership but we don't know who they are.

i feel like on both sides (unsafe vs safe) there's much to speculate about considering that there's a lot that's just unknown and that a majority of the rumors are "he said/she said". there hasn't been any real evidence yet so until evidece is brought up, i'm not deleting.
