hi lovelies! ik you're all probably going ham on your profiles and blogs to customize them to their entirety, but i figured id make a little post abt how to customize your desktop and wht programs u can use! xx1. Rainmeter ~ ♥ ♥ ♥ Rainmeter lets you apply skins 2 ur desktop. You can add visualizers that change color or track the beats/volume of your music. You can add cute widgets 2, like music players, clocks, weather apps, little pets, n more!! There are sum super easy tutorials on yt if u want to try and be super creative and u can find premade themes and skins on deviantart. 2. BioniX Animated Wallpaper ~♥ ♥ ♥ If u have windows n want to have an animated wallpaper, you can use either rainmeter or bionix. Bionix is much simpler bc its kinda meant to set gifs as ur desktop background! You can find a guide here ! This guide includes a paid alternative, but Bionix is free and pretty easy as long as u follow da directions ♥3. Pngs ~♥ ♥ ♥ U can change the icons of ur desktop shortcuts by utilizing 1 of the methods in this wikihow guide . U can easily find pngs on weheartit (my fav), pinterest, tumblr, and vector websites. 4. Customizing various websites ~♥ ♥ ♥ If u pay close enough attention, u will notice tht many websites offer customization options. Chrome has an entire store where u can find free skins and custom launch pages, Gmail has preference options to change font sizes, default fonts/colors, and theme, FP has its own customization options for your home pages and such, many social media sites have dark and light modes or inverted options, vortex is completely customizable, and through rainmeter you can change the colors and layouts of other apps like spotify!There r many more ways 2 change everything 2 ur liking, but these are a few simple things to start with! hav fun! x
