vampirism in small detail.
Vampirism - a familiar concept to most, the stuff of myths and scary stories to some. “ The actions or practice of a vampire: “ alluding to the existence of a mythical sort of being, one which feeds on the energy of others, in whatever form that energy may take. Such is generally frowned upon, a barbaric way of existence, associated with a lack of regard for mortality and a willingness to take someone else’s life force in order to fuel their own. The corporeality of vampires -- or knowledge of it at least -- is not a contemporary concept to say the least. However, the long-winded nature of this so-called myth ultimately formed more mystery than fact, leading to many a misconception towards the beings. For those who lived this reality, they knew all too well of the implications of it -- Of course, there was little they could do, it was a lucid choice of doing what one must to survive, or suffering silently and growing weak until eventually one would wither away into nothingness, and considering the latter was far from a quick and painless demise, it was clear what most would choose. Of the Vampires that lurked in the shadows, it was rare one would make themselves known quite like one individual -- A man who at the very least was not one to shy away from any opportunity to make their presence known. He was less than compassionate, a spiteful character with a passion for the unspeakable acts of mankind. Perhaps he was too caught up in the affairs of humans, too barbarous and cold to stray away from any opportunity to stir up tumult for his own good.
