About me:
Nosferatu is a 1922 silent German Expressionist horror film starring Max Schreck as Count Orlok. It is an atmospheric and creepy film for it's time. Disturbing to some to the fact Sweden banned it due to excessive horror, the ban was not lifted until 1972. In one of the earliest cases of copyright infringement involving a film adaptation, the estate of Bram Stoker, the author of Dracula, successfully sued the German producer of the macabre film but despite Nosferatu survived the court battle and the film was made.
