lots of cosmic horror media such as ddlc, madoka magica, hfjone, and anything junji ito has ever written (layers of fear and uzumaki are some personal favs!!) but I tend to stray away from it nowadays due to anxiety issues!
since there is not a dedicated video game section I think it's good to mention I'm a splatoon lover through and through though I love don't starve, rhythm heaven fever, and many other games that I cannot think of at the moment!
I do also like goth shit, I'm really new to the community but I love that romantic gothic era like some real vampire junk!!
there's also just miscellanious stuff such as spooky month, lalaloopsy (not any of the shows just the dolls really), and those video essays that are HOURS long!!
Music
again I'm super new to any subcultures so I will not be disclosing much of my music taste at the moment to avoid anyone ordering a hit on me but I do enjoy Megadeath and a tad bit of Type O Negative (I also know *some* Pierce the Veil but AGAIN I am new SPARE ME)
Movies
I am quite the movie fanatic and I will analyze any piece of work you put in front of me but I'd say one of my all-time favorites would be James and the Giant Peach (or really any work of Henry Selick, his style is delightful!)
Television
okay okay before anyone kills me I know that nostalgia is really affecting this one but Steven Universe is my favorite show ever (I KNOW IT HAS SO MANY PROBLEMS BUT I GREW UP ON IT AND IT CHANGED MY LIFE!!)
Books
I'm not able to read too much anymore but I am a book lover!! my favorite book has to be City of Ember though only the first one, I read a bit of the second one and it sucked, what drew me into the first one was the suspense and the cosmic horror elements which were literally explained by the end of the novel thus any sequels would not have the same feel in my eyes! (which was proven right with that second one it was so bad)
