I'm a classic rock kind of guy, but I enjoy almost all genres of music. All of my favorites would take too much space to list. Here are some of the greatest in my opinion: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Journey, Chicago, Supertramp, Boston, Van Halen, Molly Hatchett, Eagles, ELO, Fleetwood Mac, Foreigner, Kansas, Styx, Meatloaf, Scorpions, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Great White, Scandal, Heart, AcDc and Aerosmith..."Takes beath"... And as I said way too many more to list. Of course I thought the orchestrated music from Star Wars movies was superb.
Movies
Can you guess?, haha. I also liked Forest Gump, Titanic, and many more motion pictures with strong story lines. I also love my horror movies as well as being a sap for Romance dramas & comedies.
Television
Obviously I enjoy Sci Fi, I loved the X-Files and Millennium when they were on air. The new Battlestar Galactica has been done well, I also enjoy Ghost Whisperer. I also like crime and forensics shows. Who Remembers the Star Wars Holiday Special....Haha.
Books
I do not have much time to read anymore, but I would suggest Splinter of the Mind's Eye by Alan Dean Forest. It does not fit the Star Wars story line anymore, but it was a great book back in the day. I would also suggest the Comic Book series from Marvel and Dark Horse. They both had several very good story lines.
Heroes
I would say my mother is a hero in my eyes. She raised 3 children on her own with no help from my father. We were not rich, far from it, but we always had food on the table and a roof over our heads. She did her best to provide for her children, and always did extra if the money was there.
About me: I've been a huge Star Wars fan my whole life. I'm not lost in some fantasy reality, I just loved the films. I felt they gave children a chance to dream, and take a break from the problems they may have been faced with growing up. I especially enjoyed the original trilogy.
I have an extensive collection of memorabilia from all of the Star Wars movies. Everything from action figures to comic books, and a whole lot in between.
Who I'd like to meet: I created this profile because I loved the story of Star Wars, and wanted a place to showcase my interest. I've seen so many great Star Wars profiles here that I thought I would create a "unique" one & get in on the action. So I'd like to meet any interesting people, especially if they share the same interests
