updates on me and 30 day challenge...
Heyo! Things are still pretty boring here in quarantine. It's part of the reason I've been avoiding continuing with the 30 day challenge since day 9 is to talk about your day in detail, but there's nothing to talk about! ;-;
Today wasn't so different. I woke up at a reasonable time (8/9am?), went through all the social medias, read a news article on Serj Tankian, worked on getting the SRAR radio up for today but some stuff came up and we had to postpone this week ;-; then i ate a cupcake for breakfast because i am an adult who can make their own decisions :) at 12 I watched the homeless gospel choir's livestream show with dan from listener. It was more background noise for me this week. Then my brother's friend, our "adopted brother" as i call him, officially moved in with us today. my mom and i made a "it's a boy!" banner in the front walkway and through baby confetti on him when he walked in the door, ha! my studio space in the backyard is finally finished structure-wise and today i started moving some furniture and my boxes in. my new bed is going to get her next wednesday i think, and then im going to get some new shelves and stuff. i can't wait to get everything set up and decorated!! I played sims for a little bit, i heated up some egg rolls for lunch, i did some chores, hung out in the backyard a bit. played a couple rounds of smash bros. i found a ap magazine from 2004 with fob on the cover for only $12 and impulse bought it a;lsdf so im excited for that to come in the mail. was talking on discord in some group chats for a while. started watching documentary/TLC kind of stuff on youtube again. learned about the rat temple in India and now i really want to go someday lol. pretty much have been watching youtube since 7 or 8 this evening. now just ate some oven pinapple pizza and i think my family is going to rent and watch the new scooby doo movie.
day 10. my favorite quote. there's too many to choose from :( literally anything from the boys in my chem, especially the ones about it being okay to be fuked up.
day 11. thing i want to say to 3 people @shank i love you! that's it. i don't talk to anyone else and i dont want to.
okay that's enough for today. i dont like the hate parts of the challenge, day 12 is looking a little draining... xo

Day 8: Bands Ive Seen Live
I'm very late on this lol but whatever. The void can wait! I've seen sooo many bands and honestly I've been taking the last couple of days to even remember every concert I've been to lol. I'll try to go in order but no promises... yeah no, almost none of this is in order - Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, TwentyOne Pilots 2013
- Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, and some others i don't care to remember at Jingle Ball 2013
- Warped Tour 2014. I saw Falling in Reverse (and got Jackie to sign my Fashionably Late CD asdjsdf), For Today, Mayday Parade, Yellowcard, can't remember if I got to see We the Kings, saw Bayside, part of Chunk! No, Captain Chunk, Uh Huh Baby Yeah, and then this band from australia that im totally blanking on the name right now. Oh, and Bowling for Soup was the closer and that was the coolest show I've seen! Those are just the ones I remember, I'm sure I saw more. This was my first rock music festival and I was an emo baby and now I can't believe that Cute is What We Aim for and Finch and Saves the Day were there, really wish I could go back :((
- Aftershock 2014: I remember seeing Weezer, the Offspring, Awolnation, Bad Religion, Rob Zombie, Rise Against, part of Pennywise, Of Mice and Men (that was when i accidentally jumped on a big packet of Ranch and it exploded all over these people sitting behind me and they yelled at my poor 14 year old self until i started bursting out in tears smh), and New Medicine.
- Aftershock 2016: The sound system this year was really bad as;dfj but I saw Tool, Slayer, I'm sure some other bands that day but I don't remember??? FUK IM REALIZING GHOST PLAYED THAT YEAR AND I MISSED THEM?? I didn't know what I had man holy sh*t ;;;----;;; but I did see Ax7 and Korn and they were sooooo f***ing good. Wait okay I think I'm starting to remember now that for some reason we didn't go to either show until the evening, idk why??? And our lyft driver stole my dad's ticket right when we were about to see disturbed so we missed them ;-; fUcKK i can't believe I could have seen Ghost i am idiot!! okay okay anyways okay
- Black Sabbath, my friend Jackie had an extra ticket and took me
- I Don't Know How But They Found Me with my friend's younger cousin. I was walking around downtown with my mom and we saw that all of these people were lined up in front of this concert venue wearing fall out boy and panic at the disco and falling in reverse shirts and i was all ??? then my friend was in the line and called me over and was like "yeah my younger cousin here wants to see this band, i don't know or care who they are, do you want to take my ticket and see the band with her?" so that's how i got to see idkhbtfm for free and my friend and my mom went to the movies together while they waited for the concert to be over
- My friend Derz took me to see Thrice recently, that was awesome
- 2014 saw Frank Iero with The Homeless Gospel Choir
- The Homeless Gospel Choir again in 2019 with Harley Poe
- Cavetown
- Ryan Ross (Dead Kids Club)
- Awakebutstillinbed 2x, the first time was at a house show with Marigold and ORangePeel, second time was at Gilman
- I've seen Marigold 3-4 times now lol
- and ORangePeel I've seen somewhere between 5-7 because Chance is my emo child and I love him
- Warped Tour 2019: I was only able to go to the Saturday date, but I saw Frank, part of anti-flag, bad religion, part of goldfinger, (planned on seeing good charlotte but they had to cancel ;-; ), less than jake, the offspring, simple plan, and we the kings
- Aftershock 2019: I only was able to get tickets to Saturday for this one and saw Blink, Rob Zombie, part of BMTH, Marilyn Manson (where my mom got so excited she peed her pants), part of Stone Temple Pilots, part of Bad Religion because seeing them once at warped a couple months prior was enough, uhh and I think that's it? again, idk why we didn't go early to this show smh.
- Good Charlotte at the California State Fair
- Styx at the California State Fair and then again with Joan Jett a couple years later
- Dance Gavin Dance twice at the concerts in the park in downtown
- Stolas
- smash mouth
- creedence clearwater
- Hungover
- and then i've been to too many local shows to rememeber or count
alright so that's all that I can remember, those have been all that have been memorable. I have full weekend tickets to this year's Aftershock festival so hopefully I will finally see My Chem!!! Last on my bucket list of bands to see lol I think I could live without seeing anyone else as long as I get to see them. xo
