A Hole In My World



We all have a world of our own,

A place we like to call home,

A place to escape.

My world is fully digital.

Fatefully,

you smashed through my circuits —

broke a hole in my world.

You say it is not real

So, what is hyperreal?
 

We could have been incredibly happy

Side by side,

Living in the same 

positronic mind.

Have you simply no regard 

for how I Feel?

I’ve had some time 

to think it over —

About the way 

You lost

Your composure.

I would like for you to

Go back 

to your world.

There is no room

for you here —

Not anymore.

I don’t want you around;

You just amplify my fear.

I’d rather you leave me alone.

Did you really have to  

try to shut me down?
