notes to an old friend pt1 Category: Poems
Current mood:
cynical
going in, we never think, any will go wrong; skim the contract, sign your name, we'll stay together for too long.
and as the edges of the book's pages start to crumple up and fray, we look upon our torn-up contract, terms and conditions slurred togther, just like the pages of the story we wrote together, but the memories never really go away.
but part of me is dead in you, and part of you in me, you're dead in all my memories, a ghost walks right past me. in the rooms of my own house, you're not around anymore, but part of you still lingers; your scent, your hair, your clothes, and your ghost, they all come to remind me of the part of you i killed.
