Dracula - Bram Stoker
My dad was a huge fan of classic Universal horror films. As kids my brothers' and I used to sit around the tv and watch these movies with him and my uncle and our cousin Jay. We gained appreciation for these films. We all picked out favorite monsters and would play act and put on our own shows for family, it was great fun. Every Halloween I play Dracula in a hometown production in our local theater group. As my birthday is Oct.30th that role seems to fit me and I enjoy doing it. My favorite Dracula portrayer is Bela Lugosi, to me he is immortality. I pay homage to other vampire actors such as Christopher Lee, Gary Oldman, Frank Langella, and Max Schreck and even Kiefer Sutherlands' David character in the Lost Boys, a favorite film of mine. I also like Ingrid Pitt, Yutte Stensgaard and Caroline Munro from the hammer horror vampire films.
