Tombstone Terror:Alan and Matt were ghost hunters. They would visit old cemeteries and see if they could stir up a spirit from an old tombstone. They set up their recorder on a particularly large and ornate headstone and prepared to begin. They were afraid to shine their flashlights on the stone to see the name engraved there, as trespassing in the cemetery at night was illegal. They had crawled over the fence at the rear of the cemetery to avoid the caretaker.Matt flipped the on button on the recorder and said aloud, “We would like to speak to whoever lies beneath this stone.” In response, all they heard was the scratching noise that seemed to come from behind the tombstone.With a calm voice Alan said, “Please tell us your name.”Again, the only response was a scratching noise, so Matt said, “We only wish to speak with you. Please show yourself.”Suddenly, both young men felt the air turn cold, and a tall, dark shadow rose from behind the tombstone. The shadow moved to engulf them. Alan and Matt had many encounters with spirits, and were not afraid. Too, late, they both realized the apparition meant them harm. The shadow swept down, engulfing them, and pulled them into the ground beneath the tombstone.The next morning, the caretaker of the cemetery found the recorder on the ground by the tombstone. He turned it on, and after each question, he heard the following response:“Yes…I am here.”“My name is never spoken by the living.”“If I show myself, it will be the last thing you will ever see.”“I got you both!”The caretaker quietly picked up the recorder. Knowing he had the only evidence that someone had been in the cemetery and by that tombstone, he went to his tool shed and tossed the recorder into a pile with many others.

This is partially a vent post, and also an informational one I guess.Yesterday, I was blocked on Twitter by my longtime favorite band, Pierce the Veil. Why? "For what crime must I have committed to get this treatment?", you may be wondering.The grand crime I committed was *drumroll*...............Telling them a pedophile shouldn't be in the band. That's it.For those who don't know, in late 2017, Mike Fuentes, drummer of PTV, was exposed for having sexual relations with underaged girls (15-16) when he was 24. At the time, the band replied to the situation with a very brief statement that can be summed up as "We're investigating this matter and Mike is stepping away for a bit."However, in a new video released yesterday which showed the band performing "Hold on till May" over skype (or Zoom idk), it showed that Mike did NOT step away from the band after all; despite being exposed as a pedophile, he's still in the band.It's this that me and alot of other fans had a problem with. "Are you seriously ok with having a pedophile in your band? Could you not find another drummer? Could you please mention the giant-ass heffalump in the room?!?!" was what we were asking. We weren't rude or trying to be rude (at least, most of us weren't)- we just wanted answers and our concerns to be heard.Our concerns were not heard- instead, they were ignored and immediately rejected. The band not only hid tweets of fans who mentioned the Mike situation, but also blocked their accounts as an extra "f*ck you". I was one of these accounts, unfortunately.I honestly thought PTV cared about their fans and listened to us, so when they blocked me and others for bringing attention to the situation, it really hurt me. I've been a fan since 2013 and their music helped me get through really tough times, so to be treated like this by the people who basically saved me feels like a giant stab in the back. I've been supporting you endlessly for years but the moment I raise even a slight complaint, I immediately get blocked? What the actual f*ck???If this is how PTV treats their fans who raise concerns about there being a literal PEDOPHILE in the band (a band whose fanbase consists mostly of TEEN GIRLS, might I add), I don't want anything to do with them anymore. It breaks my heart so much to know that these people actively support and defend Mike so much so that they're willing to treat their own fans like sh*t.
