God knows what He wants and directs every step. Jesus said, "Come unto me all ye who labor and are heavily laden and I will give you rest..." With the burdens of this world and life in general, we could ALL use a place to rest. A place of peace. Where we will feel safe and find encouragement. An eye in a hurricane. An oasis in the desert.
So come join us Under the Palm Tree. It doesn't matter if you are a Christian, another belief, or still searching. We are ALL Gods children. We all share the same Spirit. We are ONE in His Love! There is always room Under the Palm Tree
When you visit Under the Palm Tree you are simply a "Child of God." What we have in common is LOVE and FAITH.
"Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." (Matthew 22:37-40)
What you will not find Under the Palm Tree is a forum for debate over the finer details of religion.
Jesus said: "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat and swallow a camel." (Matthew 23:23 & 24)
Under the Palm Tree we take care of the Camels and let the gnats follow.
Remember the hungry, remember the cold, Who once were poor children, who've now grown old. For Christmas angels to Earth now bend near, To see who shows kindness to those who are dear. So welcome the needy, give alms or give bread. You may find you've entertained angels instead.
