Joker (2019)

After watching Joker with the Slorpdingers, many thoughts and emotions ran through my mind. Since enduring my comrade's comments on my character, the painkillers have finally kicked in. It has been a long time since a movie has been able to genuinely persuade me into embracing my unhinged nature and esoteric ways. What I believe spoke to me the most were the dance scenes, they carried my soul past a horizon over a void I wasn't even aware I was drowning in. It really says something about our society when you can be surrounded by your fellow insanes, seemingly bonding over the facade of a promised safe environment to be yourself, and still feel like your energy isn't being matched. Always feeling judged, even among brothers. One of these days, they'll see who I really am.
