you'd walk all the way from new york to seattlejust to find me in a message in a bottle break the glass and glue it all back together, piece by piece make the shards fit for the both of us
you'll get cut but it'll stay within you and even though its stormy weather i'd swallow floods and cry thunder before i'd let you go forever
your bones are made of sea glass mine of powdered shells and tacks pin my skin on your wall until every inch is covered in holes from the damage irreversible and fragile to the touch but gorgeous for the time being and like a leaf picked from a tree i will succumb to withering in the next few hours
