i remember who you were before we met, the reckless way you laughed, the way you smiled.
maybe i never really saw you at all. after all, you didn't choose me.
give me one more chance, i've given you everything, won't you give me one retry?
i'm only trying to be the best, because maybe, maybe then you'll give me another try.
try me, like a toy on a shelf. because that's all i'll ever be.
if i get too close to the fire it hurts like hell, but i deserve hell.
maybe one day you'll understand,but for now, look into my caffeinated eyes,
and tell me how much you think you love her.
