it's so hard to spill

i can't tell you this is how i feel

even if it truly is real

i can't push myself closer to the edge

i won't make it to the ledge

the water’s only risen metaphorically

the edge isn't rhetorically

it might be better for me

but is it really?

cause in the drought

life’s soon to be out
